Over my years of experience in customer service with different companies I have found out that the only thing that matters is for a person to feel that he/she is looked after with care and consideration. More so if there is physical pain and discomfort involved. 

It does not matter if you made the decision to have your medical treatment abroad because the waiting list was too long or because the price of your surgery was not affordable.  For everybody it is definitely stressful and scary to undergo a medical treatment and even more so if at a foreign country.

So why take on more stress?  When you travel to a country you are not familiar with, even the simple task of catching a cab can be difficult and even more when considering that most probably you are not feeling particularly well after a medical procedure.
